Pastor Alison
Pastor Alison was born in Cape Town and raised by Alice Williams and the late George Williams in Lotus River. She was baptized on 19 May 1985 and confirmed 28 November 1999 in the Grassy Park parish.
In this parish, she was given the opportunity to serve as a Sunday school teacher for 4 years and as a youth leader. She was part of the Western Cape Circuit Aids Ministry (WECCAM). These experiences shaped and nurtured her for leadership. She started her theological training in 2015 at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. She pursued an honour’s degree in 2009 at the Vrije University in the Netherlands. In 2016, she completed her masters at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal in the Gender Religion and Sexual Reproductive Health Rights program.
She served Rietfontein parish for one year, Upington parish from 2012-2014 and the St Johannes Parish from 2015 to the present.
Pastor Alison is a mother to a 10 year old daughter Zoë Harwood.
